Jakarta Photos

My favorite form of transportation in Jakarta, known as the Bajaj.  I once saw 6 people cram into one of these.

Gathering with the RF in Jakarta

Kids waiting to break the fast at one of the Rahmania Foundation events

There were so many children and not enough room, so we had the Ifthaar in the street.
Lenna waiting to hand out boxed dinners and money to the needy children.
Traditional food to break the fast (dates, bananas,  juice, and other treats)

Islam is truly incorporated into everyday life.   Signs like these are common around airports and gas stations.

Typical Jakarta traffic. The ONLY things moving are the motorbikes.
